We believe that ultimately our identities are formed not by artificial constructs arbitrarily constructed for political gain, but by God Himself and revealed to us to be received gratefully as a gift and joyfully embodied in acknowledgment of and in submission to reality as it has been given to us by God. According to the Scriptures, all who are united to Christ by faith are and are called to be:
1. Royal Priesthood (1 Pt 2:9-11) – Zealous Worshipers/Worship Leaders, set apart for God’s glory and praise: Every one leads worship always in all of life.
2. Holy Nation/Body of Christ/Temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Pt 2:9; Mt 5:14-16; 1 Cor 6:19, 12:1-10) – (Christ in and through you): Everyone embodies countercultural, Kingdom presence and holiness in the power of the Spirit and in obedience to all of Christ’s commands.
3. Ambassadors of Christ/Ministers of Reconciliation/Commissioned Disciplemakers/Kingdom Representatives (2 Cor 5:18-21; 1 Cor 14:1; Mt 28:16-20) – Fearless, Spirit-filled, Prophet/Missionaries: Everyone preaches the gospel (repentance and faith in light of the judgment to come) and embodies the power of the age to come, making disciples of all nations.
4. Humble Servants (John 13:1-17; 1 Jn 3:16; Lk 10:25-37): Everyone sacrificially loves and serves, laying down one’s life for one’s brother/sister, neighbor, and enemy alike.
5. Children of God/Brothers and Sisters in Christ (1 Jn 3:1; Jn 1:12-13; Rm 8:14-19; Eph 2:19; Acts 2:42-47) – Devoted Family: Everyone pursues supernatural submission and devotion to Christ and to His people; renouncing materialism and the seductiveness of riches, holding all things in common.
6. Joyful Warriors (Eph 6:10-18; 2 Tim 2:3): Everyone seriously engaged in spiritual battle against the enemy and forces of darkness, groaning, laboring, confronting, and waging war for supernatural release, revival and reformation for individuals, families, churches, communities, nations.
7. Suffering Sojourners (Phil 1:29, 3:20; Heb 13:14; Mt 16:24-28): Everyone prepared to sacrifice, suffer, and even to die for the sake of Christ and His Kingdom, on earth as in heaven.
8. Devoted Disciples (Lk 6:40, 9:23, 14:26-27; Mk 8:34-36; Rom 8:17; Phil 3:7-11; Rev 2-3, 6:11): Everyone unwavering in pursuit of Christ formed in them and in one another (i.e., everyone being disciple, everyone discipling another), the growing manifestation of His power/presence, His character, and pursuit of His priorities in obedience to all of His commands, no matter what the cost, even unto death.
