How do we measure success? Quality (i.e., faithfulness) vs. quantity:
1. Disciples manifesting the presence, character, and priorities of Christ (equipped/being equipped to minister to and to lead others on mission) and reproducing the life of Christ in others (i.e., everyone being discipled and discipling others, easily discernable generations of disciple making).
2. Healthy, Christ-exalting house churches planted/multiplied throughout the city and beyond (leaders/teams identified, equipped, and sent).
3. People hearing/seeing/experiencing and being given an opportunity to respond to the Gospel of the Kingdom through the faithful, courageous witness of the church.
4. People/institutions truly repenting and believing the gospel, devoted to Christ and to sacrificially living out the reality of His Kingdom in community, on earth as in heaven.
5. People released from bondage (spiritual bondage, sickness, sin, emotional/relational brokenness).
6. People invited into our homes, into table fellowship, into the church’s shared life together that they might see, hear, experience, and respond to the reality of the Kingdom.
7. People fully engaged in daily, communal prayer and Scripture reading.
8. People actively using their gifts and actively participating and serving in the life, ministry, and mission of the church (gathered and scattered).
9. Widows/orphans adopted/cared for.
10. Money and resources generously given to support local and global mission, to encourage the persecuted church, and to meaningfully address the needs of the poor.
11. Cultural institutions (education, business, health care, arts, etc.) established/revitalized for explicit, holistic, kingdom witness and discipleship.
